Naples airport to city

From the Naples Capodichino Airport, the ALIBUS shuttle bus service connects to downtown Naples: Piazza Garibaldi (near the central railway station) and Piazza Municipio which is just in front of the Molo Beverello harbour. The ALIBUS ticket allows to run a trip on the airport shuttle bus, and to use all the means of transport run by the companies of Consorzio UNICO CAMPANIA, within the urban and suburban area of Naples. The ticket is valid for 90 minutes starting with the first validation.

Naples harbour to Capri

Capri can be reached by hydrofoil or normal ferry from the Molo Beverello or Calata Porta di Massa harbours in Naples. The port of Calata Porta di Massa is connected with the Molo Beverello port by a shuttle bus service.

From the Molo Beverello harbour, only hydrofoils depart for Capri, while from the Calata Porta di Massa harbour, only normal ferries depart. It is more convenient to depart from Molo Beverello because of the greater frequency of departures and larger selection of hydrofoils.

The normal ferry takes about 80 minutes and costs 9,60 Euro. The hydrofoil takes about 40 minutes and costs 16,00 Euro. There will also be a small fee for each sizeable baggage item brought on board. The baggage fee is paid at the time of ticket purchase, and you will be given a special ticket for each bag.

Tickets can be purchased at the port. Some companies offer the possibility to buy online in advance. In any case, even in the busiest times of the year, maximum waiting times rarely exceed one hour.
